We do our mission in the world with our partners.

Canine Companions for Independence - CCI is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilites by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality parterships.

CARITAS - is our partner for serving the homeless. We serve as both an intake site and housing site for the women's program. This is our most hands-on opportunity to serve.

Change the World RVA - was established to support high school and college students who are experiencing homelessness and housing instability. In 2016, they won the Governor's Award for outstanding community service. 

Comfort Cases - provides suitcases and basics for children in foster care we support them through collections and help packing the bags

CROP Walk - CROP Hunger Walks help to provide food and water, as well as resources that empower people to meet their own needs. From seeds and tools to wells and water systems, the key is people working together to identify their own development priorities, their strengths and their needs - something Churh World Service has learned through 70 years of working in partnership around the world.

Church World Service - helps those who are experiencing emergencies, they work with disaster preparedness with immediate response and long-term recovery.

Circle Center Adult Day Services - provdies adult day services, St. John's is one of the founding churches. The provide comprehensive and individualized quality care for older adults during the day, enabling them to live at home and providing assurance and respite for family caregivers. 

 ACTS - Area Congregations Together in Service - Thier mission is to provide funds, support, and other resources to our neighbors in financial crisis, enabling them to live sustainable, self-sufficient and dignified lives. They provide rent, mortgage, and utility assistance as well as other support that it possible for those in crisis to stay in their homes and avoid becoming homless.

Equality Virginiathe leading advocay organization in Virginia seeking equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. EV believes in a truly inclusive Commonwealth where all are equally valued.

Grace Inside – Virginia's prision chaplain service. They share the love of Jesus everyday at 35 sites throughout the state. The hard work of these chaplains continues to transform the lives of those incarcerated and their families.

Green Spring International Academy of Music - They strive to transform lives through instruction, perfermances, and community engagement in order to create a more beautiful, equitable world through music.

Feedmore - Collecting food and money served through nearly 300 food pantries, soup kitchens, goup homes, and other community sites, are largely the working poor who come to seek  assistance in emergency situations.

Health Brigadeformerly Fan Free Clinic - carries on a 50 year legacy as Virginia's oldest free and chariable clinic offering a growing array of medical, mental health, community outreach, and care coordination services for low-income and uninsured persons.

The International Rescue Committee - helps people whose lives and livihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and regain control of their future by helping to resettle refugees.

OAR of RichmondThis program provides services to people returning from incarcerations. OAR works to reduce recidivism rates by providing access to support and services that aid people in reentering their communities. 

PAL band- The Richmond Police Athletic League's band is comprised of students of various ages as well as Richmond Police Officers. Together they perform holiday events across Richmond, an annual recital, and the PAL Christmas party. St. John's is a long time supporter of this group.

Side By Side - Creating Supportive Communities where Virginia's LBGTQ+ youth can define themselves, belong, and flourish.

UCC Global MissionsGlobal Ministries is a joint witness in mission between the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Join us in our mission to receive and share the Good News of Jesus Christ by joining with global and local partners to work for justice, reconciliation and peace.

Virginia Interfaith Center for Public PolicyEngaging people of faith and goodwill to advocate for economic, racial, social, and environmental justice in Virginia's policies and practices through education, prayer, and action. 

Virginia Pride - Their mission is to be a vehicle for Lesian Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender awareness networking, and education to reach the broader Commonwealth Community.
